On Wednesday, November 27, 2019, Prof. Vipan Prachuabmoh, Ph.D., Dean of College of Population Studies, Planning Director of Chulalongkorn University Platform for Ageing Research Innovation (Chula ARi) was invited by The Committee on Social Development to be a speaker to discuss on the issue "Chula ARi and the reforming of the system to support the aging society" in a round table discussion on “How's the Reform of the Aging Society System Going?” at the meeting room no. 2304, 23rd floor, Sukpraprut Building, Prachachuen Road.
This discussion aimed to provide opportunities for the government sector, private sector, civil society, and various related departments to acknowledge the current aging society situation and listen to the guidelines to prepare and systematize in various dimensions before entering the elderly and to keep up with the situation that arises in the aging society in accordance with the National Strategy and the National Reform Plans, with 12 experts from government and private sectors attending to discuss 12 issues of support and drive for the aging society, with more than 80 participants from the Committee on Social Development, the Committee on Monitoring National Reform on Social Affairs, government sector, private sector, and civil society, along with experts, academician and reporters.
