In 2021, Thailand has completely entered an aging society. How will the advancement of science, technology, and innovation complement the living and well-being of the elderly while the world keeps changing rapidly?
Prof. Arunya Tuicomepee, Ph.D., Assoc. Dean of Faculty of Psychology, Chulalongkorn University, gave an advice on "how to take care of Alzheimer's patients during the COVID-19 outbreak" and said that the children are positive space for the elderly. The four requisite necessities are not adequate for the elderly.
The garden area was designed and developed by the architecture team from Chulalongkorn University. Urban Farming and Earthworm Farming classes were offered by the Occupational Training team, while Local Innovators were developed by the Health and Social team by hiring the unemployed to get a home-based caregiver training for the elderly (welfare benefits provided).
