Aging Society, The way of the future

In 2021, Thailand has completely entered an aging society. How will the advancement of science, technology, and innovation complement the living and well-being of the elderly while the world keeps changing rapidly?

Human-Centred Design: a design that focuses on the elderly, empathizes with a real problem that they face, and develops solutions to those problems.

  • Active Bed or “Joey” – an innovation that encourages the elderly to stand up
  • “BEN” bedside booster
  • Sensory-stimulating comfort objects or “Akiko” for people with dementia

And up to today, Thai researchers have been developing “Rejuvenating Drug” (REDGEMS), an innovation that will treat diseases and rehabilitate the elderly which will be the hope of the world.
